The MG ZT is a passenger car produced by British MG Rover between 2001 and 2005, as a saloon and estate. The car was virtually identical to the Rover 75 on which it was based, but overall it was pitched more as a sportier, nicer version of the aforementioned Rover. Production ended in April 2005, this due to the company's severe financial problems.
That's not to say that the development of the unusual MG was somehow neglected - quite the opposite. The car had a modified chassis and petrol engines, unlike the outgoing Rover. There were some interesting V6-powered versions, but the highlight was the 260, produced from October 2003. This was in fact the only one with rear-wheel drive, with Ford's modular small-block V8 installed under the bonnet. From a displacement of 4,601cc, it delivered a total output of 260bhp and 410Nm of torque, which, at 1,680kg, meant the saloon could hit 60mph in 6.6 seconds and accelerate to 250km/h.
We have no problem bringing you even such a rare car, in our case a left-hand drive one at that, in beautiful condition, with a mileage of just 62,715 km. That's what we call a rarity. Thorough research revealed no defect in beauty or technology, everything is fully functional, especially the engine, manual transmission, Bilstein shock absorbers and AP Racing brakes. A very unusual and unglamorous car that can dynamically surprise others - perhaps a tip for one of the last interesting MGs still from the UK... Feel free to get another one, we loved this one!
