Our whole world revolves around cars and especially vintage cars. Even as little boys we were always flipping through our grandfather's old magazines like World of Motors or Auto motor und Sport. But once we could sit on a motorcycle and feel the smell and power of an internal combustion engine, there was no turning back.
We started riding Pioneers around the village, which wasn't unusual in those days, as anyone who didn't have a fichtl in the village was as good as gone. As time went by, we got a ČZ 150, a Kyvacka and then started to drive old Skodas around the meadow, of course without a license. Once we reached the magical age of 18 and could legally not only drive but also own our first proper car, our dreams could turn into reality.
"As we were heavily influenced by the Professional series, we longed for the iconic Ford Capri."
That's when the first clash came, with bureaucracy. Buying the car was relatively easy, as we knew someone who knew someone who knew someone who would sell us the car. But the subsequent registration of the car took almost a year. This was the impetus for us to found the Historic Vehicle Club Křenovice, so that we could get more into the vintage car scene and bring together enthusiasts of a similar nature.
All of this led us to the establishment of the Veterans on Truc society. We want to help other vintage vehicle fans to turn their dreams into reality. To make the complicated journey of getting their dream vintage car easier. We'd love to be your guide and partner on this journey, whether it's buying from us or importing from abroad.
