The Dodge Charger is one of America's most iconic muscle cars, winning fans not only for its aggressive design but also for its brutal performance. The first generation saw the light of day in 1966, but it wasn't until the second generation (1968-1970) that it became a legend. The distinctive body with its fastback lines, hidden headlights and wide radiator grille made an indelible mark on automotive history. The Charger was famous not only in the NASCAR racing world, but also in film - for example, in the famous chase from "Bullitt" or in the "Dukes of Hazzard" series. In addition to its visual appeal, the Charger boasted a wide range of engines, from the basic 318 cu in (5.2L) V8 to the legendary 426 HEMI, which made it a true road weapon.

This particular 1969 example started life as a Charger 383 SE, a 6.3-liter engine. In 2002, however, it underwent a complete refurbishment and conversion to the more powerful 440 R/T specification, which not only meant a new 7.2-litre engine, but also modifications to the chassis and other components. This car thus retained its historic charm but was given a more modern touch of performance and reliability. Two years ago, it was brought to the Czech Republic where it underwent further modifications - a full exterior polish and application of ceramic paint protection, overhaul of the carburettors, replacement of spark plugs and spark cables, addition of new transmission fillings and resealing of the oil pan. New tyres then ensured perfect contact with the road. All the modifications and service interventions are carefully documented in the invoice binder, including the build sheet which confirms the original specification of the car.
