The Jaguar XJ-S (later XJS) is a luxury GT produced by the British automaker between 1975 and 1996. It existed as a coupe or convertible. A total of 115,413 units were built over the years. The car is based on the XJ sedan and was designed by the progressive Malcolm Sayer, but unfortunately he died before the final design was unveiled. From 1981 onwards, the new XJs were badged as XJS HE (High-Efficiency V12) with better fuel economy (which you can't really tell in real life anyway). European versions reached 295bhp, which was already very interesting, even when coupled to a three-speed automatic gearbox. Jaguar's powerful GT stands on a solid foundation and today, more than ever, attracts with its unique styling. In addition to the two-door coupe, there were also targa models (from 1983 to 1988, with a V12 engine from 1985) and convertibles (from 1988 onwards).
The offered convertible is in completely original, original condition (it has never been painted) and is fully functional and drivable. It has had only two owners and is distinguished by, among other things, low mileage. Beautiful color combination, registration papers. Really a lot of music for little money.
