The Porsche 911 came a long way before the 996 generation, the fifth reincarnation of the iconic rear-engined sports car concept. Built between 1997 and 2006, it was distinguished from its predecessor mainly by an all-new platform and, for the first time, water-cooled engines. These remained flat-six cylinders, but cooling was now provided by liquid instead of air. As for the engines, there were various versions on offer, but all already with four-valve technology, some supercharged (Turbo etc.). All-wheel drive was also available, and in addition to the coupe, there was also a convertible and the traditional targa.
The Porsche 911 on offer is rather puritanical - it is in fact a version of the Carrera 2. The European version offers a total output of 320 hp at 6800 rpm and 370 Nm of torque from a 3596 cc engine with Bosch DME injection. As a reminder, the engine is already Euro3 compliant and has a three-way catalytic converter and lambda sensor. The weight of 1430 kg means the ability to reach 60 km/h in 5 seconds and a top speed of up to 285 km/h. A manual six-cylinder is used to transmit power.
